    This would be useful for check the presence of a file that must be created for an ETL process, for example. Let's say the file needs to be delivered between 7am and 7:30am. Directory Monitor could check to see if a new file did not show up and trigger an alert.

    This should be possible now as a directory plugin. This will use the creation/modification date on the files to determine the age and possibly touch the dates when the file is detected. Periodic scans will take place to determine ages and and a new event called “Expired” will be created when old files are detected.
