Web View Plugin
A plugin that allows Directory Monitor to publish events over HTTP or Web Sockets so that you can monitor activity over the internet.
Using a technology such as SignalR (http://signalr.net/), real-time events from Directory Monitor could easily be consumed from a web page over the internet.
You would configure an HTTP end-point that SignalR clients could connect to and listen for events on their configured directories. The end-point provided could be a completely custom site. An example monitoring page will be provided as well.

A general HTTP/HTTPS post plugin would be great. Something that could post a string, XML, or text file.

Awesome! Glad to hear it. Thanks for the response.

Internally this idea has already evolved into a full web interface and enterprise service for Directory Monitor. The web view will also have an aggregated log of all instances running against your account as well as reporting and alerting facilities (for things like downtime and errors).
This is unofficially being planned already so expect development to start quite soon.

In addition, maybe a complete web based interface? The service can then be installed and then managed remotely via web browser on LAN. I know this would be an attractive feature to us enterprise customers.
